David Prescott, City Councilmember (Place 3): Using Texas Water Development Board data, Councilmember David Prescott calculated that 2.5 MGD (about 912.5 million gallons a year) would be about 2.5% of Carson County's annual water use of about 112,500 acre-feet, and 10 MGD about 10%; against about 1.1 trillion gallons for 26 Panhandle counties he put the shares at about 0.08% and 0.33%. These are his calculations.[1]
