Interim City Manager Terry Childers resigns
Childers resigned on November 16, 2016, the day after a council meeting, using a 30-day termination option in his contract. He said he had already planned to leave effective January 1, 2017. Mayor Paul Harpole said Deputy City Manager Bob Cowell would serve until a permanent manager was found.[1]
