TCEQ modifies landfill permit 73A for groundwater monitoring rules
The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality issued a modification to Municipal Solid Waste Permit No. 73A to keep the landfill in compliance with revised state rules (30 TAC Chapter 330, Subchapter J) on the groundwater sampling and analysis plan and the spacing of monitor wells along the point of compliance. The modification replaced or revised attachments on groundwater characterization, closure and post-closure cost estimates, the final closure plan and the post-closure care plan.[1][2]
