Council approves $34,800 outside operational assessment of the landfill
On its consent agenda, approved 5-0, the council awarded Biggs & Mathews Environmental, Inc. a $34,800 professional services agreement to evaluate and recommend changes to landfill site operations, funded from general fund revenues and not budgeted. Councilmember Don Tipps said the item was added at the council's direction. The City said no formal procurement was held because the amount was under $50,000 and the review was time-sensitive.[1][2][3]
